KINDERTONS ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT Operations Director Dan Athorn has challenged more than 700 staff to see if they can beat him in the upcoming Crewe FC Colour Run 2017, all in aid of St Luke’s Hospice.

Going the extra mile for charity, Kindertons is also encouraging inter departmental rivalry. It is asking each department to enter a team and see which team is the fastest on the day.

“St Luke’s Hospice delivers really valuable services and we are doing all we can to support it in the Crewe FC Colour Run 2017,” said Athorn. “I am happy for staff to try and beat my time.  I am doing the 10k and it will be in under an hour, so if they feel fit enough, they can beat the boss.

“Most importantly though, we want staff taking part and raising money for St Luke’s Hospice. The rest is a bit of fun and I don’t mind who owns the bragging rights provided everyone has fun and plenty of money is raised.”

Kindertons sponsors Crewe FC which is organising the event and hoping for a bumper turnout on Wednesday, 22nd February, at 1830, at the Crewe FC grounds.

It costs £10 to enter (Crewe FC players get free entry) and all participants get a run number, event T-shirt and powder paint.

“There are some good athletes in Kindertons though, so I’m not holding out too much hope that I’m going to win this particular race,” concluded Athorn
